Dawn Spencer Hurwitz has added three new fragrances to the Essence collection:
Marc (shown, with Sophie) ~ A scent inspired by fictional character Marc Hunter, the "super-sexy 'bad boy' hero" in Pamela Clare's romantic suspense novel Unlawful Contact; Marc features "car grease, mountain woodsmoke and sweet - salty sweat". The notes include bergamot, spices, spruce, frankincense, juniper berry, sandalwood, sage, ambergris, cedarwood, sandalwood, brown oakmoss, coffee absolute, leather, musk and sequoia.
Sophie ~ Inspired by the character Sophie Alton (also from Pamela Clare's Unlawful Contact). "Sense Sophie's fresh, flowery perfume co-mingled with what Marc calls her "sweet wild musk"... Sophie smells of wildflowers and a subtle sensuality." The notes include clementine, gardenia, peach, violet, jasmine, honeysuckle, tiger lily, ylang ylang, amber, ambergris, civet, honey, honey musk, sandalwood and musk.
Luckyclover ~ "The arrival of Spring makes me feel as lucky as a bee in clover! It's a magical scent that is strangely sweet, earthly green and mischievously innocent. Feel the charm and playfulness of a fairy sprite or (maybe a bee) in Luckyclover." The notes include bee balm, bergamot, clover blossoms, linden blossom, clover leaf, honey beeswax, liatrix, vetiver, honey, moss and patchouli.
