True, you girls have to put up with Jade Goody fragrances.

What I think is sad is that a local perfume store to me told me that Usher is constantly selling out.

Why do people buy celeb fragrances? I've never understood it - particularly when for the same money you could buy something decent.

My personal take is that celeb scents are not necessarily any worse or better than other perfumes of the same price & geared towards the same, generally young market -- a few are quite good, most are dull, some are downright horrid, all of which is true of perfume in general. But I don't know why people buy them just because of the celebrity connection either. But they do!

The only one I would even consider is Carlos Santana, which is apparently a very very good fragrance indeed, but I can't seem to find it in the UK which is a shame.

I've no idea who Tim McGraw is, but in that photograph he looks disturbingly like Ricky Gervais.

No offense but what rock have you been living under? How could you not know who Tim McGraw is? Married to Faith Hill (does that name ring any bells?), been in 4 movies including starring in Flicka in 2006, has done duets across the genres with people like Nelly (rap), Tony Bennett (i'm guessin' that name is familiar) and now he is singing with Def Leppard on their comeback single 'Nine Lives'. He & his wife had the highest grossing tour two years in a row with their Soul2Soul2 shows. He & Faith started 'Neighbor's Keeper' a charity for the hurricane ravaged areas of Louisiana & Mississippi, there respective home towns. I could go on but if nothing else,,,,,,,,if you know anything about baseball.......he is (the now deceased) Tug McGraw's son.........he coined the phrase "YA GOTTA BELIEVE" while pitching for the NY Mets.

Are ya hearin' any bells? Do yourself a favor and download some of his music; particularly a song he wrote titled "If You're Reading This"......get the Kleenex ready. You can also find his live performance of that song on youtube. He performed it on one of the country music award shows (which i'm sure you don't watch)......he paid for over 100 families of fallen soldiers to come to the show and they were on stage with him during the song......very moving.

Robin I've seen him on one of Oprah Winfreys' shows long time ago and I only remember him because of that hat he was wearing. And the reason why I remember the hat is because it looked like a rubber hat, very weird.
And well Ph. McGraw plus T. McGraw that is a little memory support.

Joe, I think part of their point (perhaps lost in my little snippet) is that nothing good is being launched directly to mass...all the good stuff in mass started out as prestige.

I'm from Nashville and the trashy Nashville honky-tonk side of me is dying to smell this even though I could care less about Tim McGraw. I'm a Lefty Frizzell and Floyd Cramer type of gal; hence, the desire to smell like moss and aged whisky.

Had to google Lefty Frizzell & Floyd Cramer -- my knowledge of country music is pretty much limited to Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn & Willie Nelson. Or does Lyle Lovett count? I adore Lyle Lovett.
