Kylie Minogue has launched a follow-up to last year's Darling. The new fragrance, Sweet Darling, will be a permanent addition to the Kylie Minogue line:
The oriental gourmand scent is said to be a sensual interpretation of the original with a cotton candy accord, juicy passion fruit, freesia and boronia.
Additional notes include sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla, and the perfumer is Thierry Wasser, who also created the original Darling fragrance.
Kylie Minogue Sweet Darling will be available in 15, 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching Sparkling Body Lotion. (quote via cosmeticsint.co.uk, additional information via osmoz, cosmoty.de)
Paris Hilton will launch her fourth fragrance this October. Can Can is described as "elegant but fun", and while it shares fruity floral notes with her first three fragrance releases, it takes cues from current trends towards oriental fragrances:
Created by Firmenich's Jean-Claude Delville, Can Can is a blend of top notes of clementine flower, cassis and nectarine; middle notes of wild orchid and orange blossom, and bottom notes of soft musk, amber and woods.
Parlux, the company that produces the Paris Hilton fragrance line, hopes the media frenzy around Hilton's recent 23-day jail sentence will help rather than hurt sales.
Paris Hilton Can Can will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. (via Women's Wear Daily) Update: see a review of Can Can Paris Hilton.
