Calvin Klein CK2InU fragrancesCalvin Klein has launched CK IN2U, a fragrance duo inspired by the connected generation "expressing its freedom thanks to new technologies".

CK IN2U Her includes notes of pink grapefruit, bergamot, currant leaves, sugared orchid accord, white cactus, neon amber, vanilla souffle and red cedar. It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in Body Milk and Shower Gel.

CK IN2U Him has notes of citron vert "Gin Fizz", pomelo leaves, frosted tangelo, Cacao bean, Jamaican pepper, shiso leaves, white musk, white cedar and "ultra-vetiver". It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and After Shave Gel.

Calvin Klein CK IN2U for Her and Him are available now at sephora.fr; no idea when these will hit the United States. Will they become as popular as CK One was in its day?

Update: the CKIN2U fragrances launched in the US today, 3/8. They were developed by perfumers Bruno Jovanovic & Jean Marc Chaillan for the men's version, Loc Dong & Carlos Benaim for the women's. (via osmoz & fashionmag.fr) "The cylindrical bottles were inspired by the iPod, with thick sculpted glass partly encased by soft white plastic." (via cosmeticsint)

Calvin Klein ck in2u print adUpdate 2: Ok, here is the first print ad for ck in2u. I am not the target market, of course, not being part of the "technosexual generation" (Calvin Klein trademarked the term technosexual, by the way), but it isn't doing anything for me at all. The (non-perfume) blogosphere is less than impressed with the whole thing (see Bloggers Don't Want To Smell of Blog at Gawker and Calvin Klein Targets Bloggers With New Fragrance at Bloggers Blog) but hey, if the smell fits, people are going to buy it. Whether the smell fits remains to be seen.
